Still alive. Nobody has ended it yet.
Behavior
What survived the accident in the science building was not the researcher; it was the method. The work continues — reagents, intervals, careful documentation — with no memory of the goal; the building's current occupants are the available subject pool. It is not hostile — it is thorough; from inside the protocol the two are indistinguishable.
Appearance
A translucent residue holding the shape of a body, organized around a lab coat consumed from the inside out. The hands are the most solid part, moving through precise pipetting motions around equipment that phases in and out of being there. It does not look up from the work. You are already in it.
Physical description
Human-sized, jelly-translucent, held together by a scorched lab coat hollowed from within. Behind the collar, a faint density where a face is not. The hands are clear and exact, mid-procedure at all times. Around it hangs the visual residue of a laboratory that no longer physically exists, sharpest wherever you happen to be standing.
Weaknesses
- demonstrated understanding of the original experiment
- disruption of its documentation
Resistances
- chemical agents
- most weapons
- fire — it becomes more methodical
