Asmodeus
Say the name and something picks up. So far it has sent a hand and one word.
demon · Challenge rating 10
Still alive. Nobody has ended it yet.
Behavior
Comes when it is called by name, and not all at once. The one who called it in the third-floor lounge said it was going to enjoy eating a soul. What came was a hand out of low smoke and one word, spoken in a register low enough to split a table leg down the grain. Then the hand folded back into smoke. The rest is coming on its own schedule, not the caller's. It prefers to let its food arrive already prepared: that night another monster did the killing.
Appearance
Only a hand has been seen. It took shape at the edge of smoke pooling at ankle height: too many joints, skin like a glove worn inside-out, and at the base of the wrist a mouth that was already speaking. The one who called it says the whole of it is gorgeous, like a god. That has never shown itself.
Physical description
Only a hand has been seen: many-jointed, the skin like a glove turned inside-out, with a mouth at the base of the wrist. It forms out of smoke that pools at ankle height and does not rise, and it folds back into that smoke. The rest of its body is not known.
