Physical description
A dense, waist-high cloud of thousands of thumbnail-sized rotating metal shards, flocking in unison like starlings. Surfaces flash mirror-bright as edges catch light, giving the shimmer that precedes it. Sounds like a rising metallic hiss/rattle. Moves as one mass along a fixed vector, shredding anything it passes through without slowing.
