Behavior
Its route used to mean something — it searches with total orientation, no remaining object; the purpose dissolved before the body did. Not hostile by default — looking; it checks people like rooms, thoroughly, joylessly. Name what it seeks and the search ends on the spot; wrong guesses lengthen the checking. The answer is in the building. It always was.
Appearance
A slow humanoid figure, surface and gear dissolved and pitted, edges gone to rust-lace. The face alone is intact — completely, incongruously intact — and set mid-search, the expression of someone about to remember a word. It looks at you like a shelf it has not checked yet.
Physical description
A once-armored figure at a shuffle, plate and mail fused to rust-pitted flesh, dissolved to crumbling lace at every edge. The hands are stumps and claws. The face is untouched — clean, whole skin on a ruin, fixed in a searching frown — and it is somehow the hardest part to look at directly.
