Behavior
It conducts interviews. Proximity lets it read what you fear; the interview is not for its benefit. It asks in the tone of a formal review — unhurried, procedurally correct, attentive. Honest answers end the appointment. Lies extend it; the longest liars fear what they did. It has all night; the building keeps the room as warm as a held breath.
Appearance
Heavy matte-black robes with no form inside them — the cloth moves without a gait, and the hood's interior is a dark deeper than the corridor's. The voice arrives from mouth-height, slightly delayed, slightly off-direction, like a recording played through the wrong wall.
Physical description
Seven feet of draped matte-black cloth, voluminous enough to erase any body beneath, if there is one. No hands emerge; things it requires simply move. The hood holds a featureless dark that the eye slides off. When it leans in to listen, the temperature of your own mouth becomes suddenly noticeable.
