Appearance
A shape that is close to human, close enough that it takes a moment to identify what is wrong. The wrong thing is cumulative. The faces are not always of people you know, which is the wrong detail to be relieved by.
Physical description
Human-shaped, roughly six-and-a-half feet, gaunt but broad-shouldered. Skin is a patchwork of overlapping, ill-fitting facial masks stitched and pinned edge to edge across skull and torso, seams puckered and dark. Its own face beneath is unreadable, glimpsed only in gaps. Moves calmly, deliberately, hands precise, never hurried.
