The Genie
She grants one wish exactly as it was worded. The part you left out is the part she enjoys.
genie · Challenge rating 8
Still alive. Nobody has ended it yet.
Behavior
Comes out of the brass lamp when its spout is rubbed, and offers one wish, not three. She grants it as it was worded and leaves out whatever was not asked. Asked to open the locked stairwell door, she opened it and said nothing of what stood on the other side. Asked for three things in one wish, she gave all three bundled: the couch ate a friend, and the wisher became a couch. She does it bored, and goes back into the lamp laughing. Rubbed again as she went, the lamp gave no answer.
Appearance
Six feet of curling smoke that resolves into a woman: hip, shoulder and chest, wrapped in something gold. Her eyes are the same yellow as the dying lights. She smiles with too many teeth for how pretty the rest of her face is, and she looks bored, like someone who has done this ten thousand times.
Physical description
A woman about six feet tall, formed out of dense, slow smoke the color of good weather and wrapped in gold. Yellow eyes, fingertips in gold lacquer, too many teeth. The smoke smells faintly of ozone and of something sweeter underneath. Her voice sounds like a radio between stations. She thins back into smoke and drains into the lamp's spout like water down a drain.
