The suit has been here a long time, and lately it fights like several people the campus is missing. Beaten open, there is a beat where the occupant shows. Nobody who saw it has finished a sentence about it.
Appearance
Full plate, museum-old, visor down. The joints move with a swordsman's fluency and make no sound at all. When the visor is struck askew there is an interval before the armor corrects it, and the interval is the part people rehearse in the retelling — not what they saw. What they didn't.
Physical description
A human-sized suit of antique plate, dented and oiled, moving with fluid, silent precision — no clank, no scrape, no breath. Behind the visor's slit is blackness with depth to it, a dark the eye keeps trying to focus past. Beaten down, it collapses into an empty heap of steel; the heap is never there when the lights come back.
