The Vivisectionist
It takes notes. The current session is not the first data point. It is learning.
abomination · Challenge rating 9
Still alive. Nobody has ended it yet.
Behavior
Takes notes. This is the part that stays with people — the clipboard, the pauses for recording rather than hesitation, the sense that there is a research question and that the current session is not the first data point. It is learning.
Appearance
Surgical mask, lab coat, the organized hands of someone who has done this many times and improved each time. The mask is clean. The clipboard is full.
Physical description
Tall, gaunt humanoid in a spotless white lab coat over grey surgical scrubs, sleeves rolled to reveal too many jointed fingers per hand. A clean surgical mask covers a featureless lower face; eyes are flat, unblinking. Carries a worn clipboard, thick with handwritten pages. Movements slow, precise, methodical — never rushed.
